Beyond the Veil Amazon Prime Series.

This show is the ONLY reason why i hoped on prime. I was doing alright with one subscription to Netflix monthly.
Beyond the veil was captivating from the trailer, social media presence, and clips. I immediately noticed the show had a diversity of the Arewa culture that I couldn’t get from the initial RHOA cast, including its fashion, lifestyle, and traditions, from eposide one while also addressing social issues, such as polygamy, drug abuse, gender-based violence, and unstable family dynamics amongst the rich circle of Abuja FCT, Nigeria as the show progresses.
The show stars a talented cast of Nollywood actors, including Jemima Osunde, Maryam Booth, Norah Ego, Ummi Baba Ahmed, Ame Aiyejina, and more popular faces like Yakubu Mohammed, Rikadawa Rabiu, and Habiba Sock included.
“It’s not hard to get a new man, I can do that in a day if i want to” -Baddie

P.O.T.S focus is on the wardrobe of Baddriyya AKA, the influencer Baddie with a Baddie Fanbase. Badriyya’s character is a rich kid with high taste, in touch with her femininity, culture, and also quite spoilt. The woman of men dreams.
Her style was rich, luxurious, classy and unique even when simple.
Baddriya was played by the actress, Norah Ego, and like her name Ego, she dripped of money (ego is the igbo translation of money). Norah was also styled by Hafsat Sani Sami, founder of Kweyve textiles, dreamhouse by kyweve, and a jewelry designer as well as an illustrator.

The stylist understanding of the assignment, of course, was on par with the reality of such class of fashion, in contemporary Nigeria. She knew how to go about Badie’s wardrobe.

Badriya had a great character and personality of a lovely woman but not a great love interest unforgettable. In this scene, she’s with her love interest. We spot the earrings designed and made by Kweyve. Other actresses were seen spotting one or two different styles of the earring as well as dresses.

“Baddie was an influencer, so naturally, we had to make sure she was trendy with all the clothing and accessories a young arewa lady will live for.” -H.S.S
And truly, who won’t live for some TimaBee accessories and art influenced Kyweve pieces?

Watch the show, and let’s get talking.
