A very pretty café set in the center of Wuse has captured quite a number of hearts. It is set up for one’s comfort, ranging from work, meetings, solo dates, and more. What more? It is picture worthy of your IG aesthetical page. To top up, the ambiance comes with jazz/soft music at a lower volume to not disrupt your conversation and give you room to interact. Such a bourgeois attitude. 🎀

What makes Eli and Lulu café different? Well, it is partitioned into four spaces. First, the pastries and coffee reception. The second is the cozy part filled with books, games, and tables at the window surrounded by colorful faux flowers, table for 6, and table for two. The third space recently opened with another coffee stand and has a similar setting to the second but has lots of mirrors. The last part is the VIP section attached to the conference room that could be converted to a movie space.

The first time I stepped into it, I was just looking for a proper dessert spot with as much sugar as they could offer. I met Grace at The Young god’s coffee experiment event and she told me about her café. I checked Eli&Lulu for my heart’s desire, and they got me, by coming through with this big bowl of gelato with a couple of coffee flavored Macaroons (not my favorite flavor of Macaroons though). I ate to my filling, and it was worth the money spent. I couldn’t even finish it, and with that, I was hooked.

It has a calm and cafe bistro vibe according to Abuja eats on IG. Speaking perceptively, I agree, too. On a Friday out, we spent the evening sipping Chai and eating pastries to our satisfaction with the calm music playing in the background, games being played, and us just having a good time with fewer people around.

I love that I could read or purchase books on the go. Or buy tea products off the shelf. The restroom is accessed by both genders, which EliandLulu tries to keep very clean, very pretty, and never crowded.

Eli and Lulu café has a range of card games from kulture games that look at African or Nigerian society to scrables, whot cards, and mancala games. It is quite intriguing and fun to play and learn at the same time.

Eli and Lulu has a 24/7 policy that goes from Friday to Sunday. So when you are looking for a spot to relax and unwind or just grab an after Friday night meal, try this adorable Café in the center of Wuse.
