Sushi Scenes.

I’ve been such a huge fan of sushi ever since I can remember sushi, but mainly because it is rice which I believe I’m addicted to and the soy sauce which is quite on the salty side

So when we decided to go for a sushi lunch date, we picked Barbiotruck to try. It’s new, its at truck central, ant it’s Barbie themed. Come on!!!

Well, the experience was flat. Lately, sushi has taken a decline in size and an inflation in price. (Salam 4guys). But as a new spot, I guess we expected highly of it. It wasn’t a great experience. Of course, we had to let them know, because, reviews and complaints to organizations could eventually make them get better. If they are willing to cooperate, (I’ll try again in 6 months)

The Wasabi wasn’t of natural taste, and the soy sauce was watered down and had additional taste (how do you mess up soy sauce)? Perhaps it’s an in-house thing. Perhaps it’s a bad day. Either way, it wasn’t a great impression.

Not my review, but I felt the same way.

Anyways, to rinse of the taste off our mouth, had to go to our favorite spot for sushi known as ALDO’s. Oh. My. God. It was euphoric, to say the least. Got a combination of 4 different flavors and more to take home. They were thrice as big, padded with so much vegetables and prawns, great ginger, and natural wasabi. Plus the price was very fair compared to the first spot.

Looking at it side by side, you can’t compare its size or presentation. Is it because they are new and yet to understand the sushi way, or is it that ALDO’s has been there and understands the sushi way? Anyway, if you are a sushi fan like us, ALDO’s is your spot. Try a box of sushi for 20 pieces of different flavors or a set of regular sushi. You will like the experience regardless!
