Recently hopped on the series Loot recommended by my brother (high 5). Loot is a comedy series created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang, which stars one of my favorite celebrities “Maya Rudolph’. In this series, Maya portrays the Molly character. A woman of wealth and style. I won’t spoil it for you.

I was quite fascinated by the series costumes on all characters but… Only Molly’s fashion sense really appealed to me. I’d love to wear them every where.

Here are some of the outfits and accessories that caught my eye on sight.

1. The 2 tone dress by Roksanda. Otherwise known as look 33 from Roksanda’s Autumn/Winter 2021 lookbook.

Roksanda Ilinčić is a fashion designer based in London and the founder of the label Roksanda. Her outfit could be seen on different fashion savvy characters on screen.

The attraction to this dress apart the color tone, was also the placing of the meeting point of 2 tones in perfect symmetry. It was paired simply with low-key accessories and a cute clutch accompanied with lovely sandals.

2. Opening scene aka PILOT. La DoubleJ Bella Dress in Monstera Rosa or as I like to term it; the rich Madam’s ‘Bubu’.

The Monstera Rosa fabric was used for this particular dress with a price tag of $1,545.00… Do the naira math. Whoosh. The Maxi Dress has a deep V-neck shape in all modesty and eye-catching pleats at the bottom.

3. Eposide 2- “Bienvenidos a Miami” this is a
La DoubleJ Party Bag brand product. A Printed Bucket Bag.

OK by now, you should know that, La DoubleJ is famous for their bold prints on fabrics. La DoubleJ is a multi-tasking Milanese brand that makes up the very best of Italy wear.

The bag on the series was accompanied with a Headband accessory, which I was a fan off. Obv.

4. The classiest pyjamas since Joan Collins on dynasty. The Sleepers Feather-trimmed crepe de chine pajama set.

Sleeper is a premium Ukrainian pajama brand. The Sleeper 2 piece set on Molly was of mild and soothing tone. Reflects also on her heartbroken mood and the environment’s color light tones. Sleepers was conceived by two former magazine editors, Kate Zubarieva and Asya Varetsa.

5. Loeffler Randall Penny Bow pleated Sandal Gold. The casual short bowling scene, was captivating because, who rolls a bowling ball with a $395 block heeled shoes. (we want to be a billionaire so bad 😭).

It’s a 94% female Team at Loeffler Randall, who are a majority female team of 35 people, creating products for and by women.
